With the introduction of the Studio Player, WADAX has quickly established itself as the absolute king of the digital music source. Its organic, super-smooth sound character sketches an almost limitless sonic landscape, free from digital rigidity that plague even the best digital sources. During the High End Show in Munich, WADAX introduced the Studio Clock and Studio PSU, which continue the philosophy of the all-surpassing Reference Series in the Studio line.

Studio Clock
The WADAX Studio Clock is the ultimate Master Clock. Crucial for the timing of the digital samples and therefore reconstructing the analogue signal, the clock forms the reference point of all digital signal processing. The WADAX Studio Clock fulfils this role in an optimized and fully controlled, proprietary housing, free of interference. In combination with the WADAX Studio Player, the Studio Clock takes over this essential timing to perform the synchronization of the digital data with ultimate accuracy. The already minimal timing error or jitter of the internal clock in the Studio Player is minimized to negligible values with the WADAX Studio Clock. Working together, they unfold every subtle nuance and detail with breathtaking realism and precision. In addition, the qualities of the Studio Clock are not reserved for WADAX alone, but thanks to its six independently adjustable clock outputs, the Studio Clock can also offer a great upgrade with other brands!
We expect to be able to introduce and demonstrate the WADAX Studio Clock in mid-November.

Studio PSU
That every audio component is as good as its power supply is a high priority for WADAX’s engineering profile. The Studio Player is therefore equipped with an exceptionally low-noise, linear power supply that forms the foundation for the final audio signal. However, from WADAX’s puristic point of view, the All-in-One Studio Player sets a limit to what is technically possible. Simply because there is limited physical space in the chassis of the Studio Player. Here, the WADAX Studio PSU provides an almost unimaginable upgrade. As perhaps the most refined power supply from WADAX to date, the PSU forms the absolute core of the Studio series. More than 800 components, two custom-designed 500VA transformers and a completely isolated construction together form a 32 kilo DC power supply that can supply both the Studio Player and the Studio Clock with DC voltage. The improvements in sonic contrast, sense of ease and dynamic freedom is truly astonishing and underlines WADAX’s superior knowledge of both digital signal processing and pure, analogue technology.
We expect to introduce and demonstrate the WADAX Studio PSU mid-November.
Studio AKASA DC Cable
The WADAX Studio PSU converts the incoming alternating current to a regulated direct current, optimized for the Studio Player and Studio Clock. The PSU couples its supply voltage to these components using a specific DC cable. Here too, WADAX leaves absolutely nothing to chance. During the development of the Reference Series, the engineers conducted extensive research into cable geometry, material composition and insulation for this direct current transmission. Based on this knowledge, WADAX developed two cables of choice, optimized for the Studio series that need to be added to the PSU to form one cohesive power-supply:

AKASA DC Studio
The AKASA DC Studio Cable is similar in construction to the Reference DC Cable but is constructed with a Single Crystal Uni-Lattice Copper Conductor as a conductor instead of Silver. Supplied in 1 meter length.
STANDARD DC Cable
In addition to the AKASA DC Studio, WADAX also developed a ‘standard’ DC cable with pure OFC copper as an alternative.
